Several people at a public park stumbled on a dead deer Sunday. They were disturbed and you may also find the images pretty upsetting as well.

Now, game wardens say they need your help finding the person behind it.

We have pictures captured by a KARK employee. In them you can see a small 6 point adult deer had been shot one time. Wardens say it fell dead right in the middle of Riverview Park in North Little Rock.

It was discovered Sunday afternoon, but game wardens say it was shot sometime between 10 and noon.

That's a time that often can be quite busy; there are often a lot of children in that area.

People in the park we talked to shocked to hear of it.

"It's frightening to think someone was shooting in a public place and it's just a shame too," said Elizabeth Estes, who goes to the park frequently.

It's illegal to shoot deer out of season; it's also criminal to fire a gun in city limits.

Wardens say if you can help them find who did it you could get a reward. Just give them a call.
