Jacksonville Citgo Robbed, Clerk Threatened

Officers responded a little after 2 a.m. to the Citgo station on Marshall Road .

A young man with a black handgun entered the store and demanded money. The clerk opened the register and the suspect took the money.

He also demanded cigarettes and for the safe to be opened. When the clerk could not do what he wanted, he threatened to shoot her.

The clerk was able to run from the store unharmed and the suspect fled on foot.

He took an undetermined amount of money.
