"It's probably going to be one of the most important games of the year," says Hog fan Bobby Graham.
As Rutgers provided an opportunity to rectify the Razorback season, but for the third week in a row, fans saw the Hogs come up short.
"They need to re-group and figure something out to move in the right direction," says Hog fan Lori Thomas.
"I think that that's somthing that the coaches will have to go back to the drawing board, you know, change up a few things," says Hog fan Tyler Stephens. "But I think we can still make a good season out of it, I really do."
Tailgaters talking positive -- still -- despite the start to a season that nobody saw coming.
"I expect the Razorbacks to keep working hard, I think that you know we fight to the end, don't ever give up as Razorback fans, that's what we're always taught," Stephens adds.
"I'm hopeful, i think that they're a good team," Thomas says. "I think it's just, like I said they've had some controversy that they've had to come over, and they just need to re-group and come together."
So with bowl game-bids fading, fans still keep the faith knowing that it can only get better from here.
"That's what a true fan is, you stand behind your team, thick and thin no matter what, you stand behind your Hogs," Graham says.
