US Senators Mark Pryor and John Boozman today joined Congressman Rick Crawford (AR-1) to announce that the West Memphis Municipal Airport will receive a $10,000,000 Department of Transportation grant to rehabilitate its runway.

"Safe and reliable transportation infrastructure is critical to economic development in Arkansas," Pryor said. "Reinvesting these federal dollars in the West Memphis Municipal Airport will benefit local businesses and residents alike."

"These funds will not only improve safety at West Memphis Municipal Airport, but help facilitate economic development which will lead to more jobs in the private sector," Boozman said.
