People living in Dixie want a larger piece of their neighborhood tested for asbestos.

Back in June the EPA gathered samples from the area.

Investigators found various levels of asbestos near the site of an old auto salvage plant, which was torn down nearly 20 years ago.

The plant reportedly used materials from a plant in Montana, found to have a large asbestos contamination problem.

Dixie's neighborhood representative says the EPA told their attorneys they are done testing samples and will share results soon.
