Next Generation Young Professionals Hosts NLR Mayor Forum

November hopefuls competing for the title of North Little Rock Mayor all met on Thursday for a candidates forum.
The Next Generation Young Professionals of the North Little Rock Chamber of Commerce hosted the event.
Following a brief lunch, voters both young and old had a chance to hear from the different candidates vying for the same position.
"This will be the first time we've had a change in leadership as a mayor in 24 years," said Will Choate with the Next Generation Young Professionals. "I told them I was 7 years old when that took place. We hope that we help people make a more informed decision on November 6."
The group hosting the forum said they had a great turnout, especially in the younger crowd, which shows just how much the generation cares about the direction of the city.
