After a plea from two viewers to do a story about Armyworms in Arkansas, KARK 4 News followed up with farmers in Lonoke County who say the insects are a big problem.

"The Armyworms are eating up our hay fields. They came in with the hurricane. It blew white moths here that have hatched out the eggs now. They are ruining the crops. Please run a story about this," said one Facebook post.
"You guys should do a story on these army worms and how to deal with them......after the drought...this is a nightmare," said a second post.
