A White County man died after rolling his ATV Tuesday morning.

White County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a call of an unresponsive man trapped under a side-by-side ATV near River Drive outside of Judsonia at about 10:00 a.m.

Deputies arrived to find 56-year-old David Staten pinned under the roll cage in the water.

It appeared that Staten rolled the ATV over on the driver's side while traveling down the bank of the Little Red River, according to the Sheriff's office.

White County officials say although the ATV was equipped with seat belts, Staten was not wearing one.
