Three-Day Grand Opening for New Theatre at NLR's McCain Mall

A three-day grand opening kicks off in North Little Rock today for McCain Mall's new movie theatre.

Regal Cinemas is raising money for local charities during the festivities which include an array of entertaining preview events through Wednesday.

Moviegoers can enjoy $2 movies, $2 popcorn, and $2 soft drinks during the grand opening.

The theatre boasts 12 screens and each preview event will feature a varied list of movies.

The gun starts with "Read It and See It at Regal" tonight, benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters. 

On Tuesday, guests are encouraged to attend "Regal Is All-American," which profits the September Fund and St. Jude. 

Tying up the grand opening of Regal Cinemas, filmgoers are invited to "Regal Family Fun Day" on Wednesday, with proceeds benefiting the Make-A-Wish Foundation. 

The lists of movies showing at the preview events are:
Monday: 
The Help, Harry Potter Deathly Hollows Part 2, Alice in Wonderland, and Hunger Games in RPX

Tuesday:
Iron Man 2, Dear John, Act of Valor, and Mission Impossible 4 in RPX

Wednesday:

Madagascar 3, The Smurfs, Cars 2, and The Amazing Spider-Man in RPX

The theater which offers RPX, better known as the Regal Premium Experience, presents 3D and digital projection via a technologically enhanced single screen. 

Regal Cinemas says all of its theaters demonstrate quality and comfort with new rocker seats that have headrests and cup-holder armrests.
