KARK 4 Meteorologist Greg Dee says 48 hour rainfall estimates on 4Warn Live Doppler radar (see photo below) show that most of the state has seen rain. In many areas, more than an inch of rain has fallen.
The National Weather Service in Little Rock says more than two inches has fallen in these locations:
- Roland - 2.50
- Malvern - 2.32
- Gravelly (Yell County) - 2.15
- Danville (Yell County) - 2.09
- Havana (Yell County) - 2.01
The forecast calls for more rain today of half-an-inch to one-inch in some areas of the state from isolated thunderstorms and showers. Storms are forecast to taper off tonight and into Tuesday morning with average rainfall of one-tenth-of-an-inch.
