A new survey from consumer reports shows that over the past year -- 60% of Americans have missed appointments with their doctors, medical exams, neglected to fill prescriptions or cut pills -- all because of cost.
Nearly a third of survey respondents without prescription insurance coverage neglected to take at least one dose of medication -- while more than 60% of them skipped at least one doctor's appointment.
The report cites soaring healthcare costs and a poor economy as the problem.
