Police: Man Demanding Pills Tries to Rob Rogers Store

Rogers Police are investigating an attempted robbery at a drug store Sunday night.

It happened at the Walgreens at the intersection of Dixieland Road and Walnut Street around seven o'clock.

Officers say a man walked into the pharmacy and demanded Oxycontin pills.

According to police, the man claimed he had a gun, but never showed a weapon.

He was arrested without incident in the store.

Police have not yet released his name.
