Woman in Custody after Hitting Two People with Car

A Fayetteville women is in custody after deputies say she hit two people with her car.

The Washington County Sheriff's Office says 29-year-old Jessica Mars ran over 31-year-old John Chamberlain on Highway 303 North around 3:00 Saturday afternoon.

Mars faces charges of aggravated assault, criminal mischief and endangering the welfare of a minor.

Chamberlain was taken by paramedics to a hospital in Springdale. We don't know his condition.

The second victim was 34-year-old Minda Totten. Deputies say she was not injured.
