It's proven to be a deadly weekend on Arkansas roads.

In Garland County, wet and rainy conditions could be to blame for the death of a 21-year-old.

Arkansas State Police say David White of Hot Springs hit a van head-on on Highway 70 around 8:00 Saturday morning.

Deputies say his car crossed the center line and caused the wreck.

The driver of the van was injured, but is expected to be okay.

Another deadly accident happened on Interstate 30 near mile marker 83 in Hot Spring County.

Around 5:00 Saturday morning, state police say April Russo was driving when her vehicle left the road and she hit a tree.

She died on the scene.

State police say the weather was clear. However, the road was wet, which may have played a role in the accident.
