Driving home after a late night stop at Walmart Wednesday, Courtney said a man in a small black truck began chasing her on the road.
"He kept going faster so I had to keep going faster," she said.
The attack happened at the intersection of Sheppard and Lock and Dam Road.
Courtney said the man ran her off the road, knocking her phone onto the floor board she said after that everything was just kind of a blur.
"I saw him getting out of his car and he was wrapping a bandanna around his face," she said.
Terrified and panicked, Courtney ran from her car, looking back she knows that was a mistake.
The man, she said, grabbed her by the hair and cut her t-shirt and chest with a box cutter.
So she began telling him personal things about herself, that she's a mother, that she has three brothers, anything to make him stop.
"I told him I was HIV positive, I lied, and I could tell that confused him," she said.
She said that idea came from watching a lot of Law and Order, but the attack continued and she was sexually assaulted.
Courtney fought back but it wasn't until a line of cars drove by that the man finally left her alone.
"I dont know how long I was there by myself," she said, "I was just in shock but an officer patrolling shined his light on me."
Courtney said she's lucky to be alive but she loses sleep at night thinking about this man out free to hurt someone else.
Not knowing what to do she's taken to Facebook to warn others.
"Because above all I just want him found so that I can sleep at night knowing this won't happen to someone else," she said.
Courtney said the man is black and about 5'11" with bulging eyes and acne on his forehead.
He's also missing the tip of one of his index fingers.
