In Lonoke, two brothers who own their own business say it's time for someone to kick-start the economy.

You might say business at the Lonoke diner where Shane and Danny Whitehurst come to eat three times a week is sizzling.

But the Whitehurst brothers say their contracting business, like the rest of the economy, is struggling and they're ready for it to get busy again.

Work can sometimes seem like a grind, but they're hoping someone will clean up the state of affairs in Washington too.

They say unless or until someone that's not bought and paid for gets into office, every dollar counts and every meal matters.
