Bridge Inspection on Highway 7 in Hot Springs to Require Lane Closures

Crews performing a routine bridge inspection on Highway 7 over Lake Hamilton in Hot Springs will require a lane closure beginning next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
The inspection will require an alternating lane closure of the northbound and southbound lanes on Tuesday, Sept. 18 and Wednesday, Sept.19.
The lane closures will be in effect each day between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., weather permitting.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
