Candidates Forum September 16 in Little Rock

A candidates forum is being held Sunday in Little Rock.
The public is invited to attend the event from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Darragh Center of the Central Arkansas Main Library, 100 Rock Street, in downtown.
The purpose of the forum is to allow voters to become better acquainted with candidates in contested races in Pulaski County and Saline County.
All candidates in contested races for U.S. Congress District 2, Circuit Judge Division 11 Subdistrict 6.2, Arkansas Senate Districts in Little Rock and Saline County, Arkansas Representative Districts in Little Rock and Saline County have been invited. Pulaski County Quorum Court Justices of the Peace are also invited.
Candidates in uncontested races will be welcomed to attend to meet the public and display literature. Candidates with opponents will have the opportunity to answer questions posed to them by our moderator, former Senator Irma Hunter Brown.
Sponsoring organizations are the Little Rock Branch of AAUW (American Association of University Women) and the League of Women Voters of Pulaski County.
