Police Identify Man Killed When Tire Bounced Over I-630, Hit Windshield

Arkansas State Police have identified the man killed when a tire bounced across Interstate 630 and hit his vehicle.

Peter J. Gee, 52, of Little Rock was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

According to Arkansas State Police, 56-year-old Katherine Williams of Lake Scott was driving west on Interstate 630 when her 1998 Ford Van lost its left front tire.

The tire then bounced over the center wall and smashed into Gee's windshield. His vehicle continued eastbound before eventually stopping just before the Pine Street exit.

Williams was not injured.

According to the report, Gee was wearing his seat belt.
