Walmart is hiring about 300 associates for the new Walmart slated to open this fall at 700 S. Bowman Road on the city's west side.
To facilitate applications, the retailer has opened a temporary hiring center in the Redding Building at 1701 Centerview Drive, Suite 123, in Little Rock. That address is located between South Shackleford Road and South Bowman Road.
The hiring center is accepting applications Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

According to store manager Tracy Tull, the store will be hiring both full- and part-time associates. "We are excited to add this Walmart to Little Rock and bring good jobs with career opportunities to the area," she said.
Tull said associates are needed to work in all areas of the new store, including supervisory positions.
Walmart's benefit program is available to eligible full- and part-time associates and provides a variety of affordable health and well-being benefits including health care coverage with no lifetime maximum.
Walmart also offers eligible associates matching 401(k) contributions of up to 6-percent of pay, discounts on general merchandise, an Associate Stock Purchase Program and company-paid life insurance. Additionally, eligible associates receive a quarterly incentive bonus based on store performance.
The majority of associates will begin work in late September to help prepare the store for its grand opening this fall.
