White House Holds 9/11 Moment of Silence Ceremony

A moment of silence in observance of the 11th anniversary of the September 11 attacks was held this morning at the White House.

President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama held the service on the South Lawn.

The Obama's also plan on attending an observance ceremony at the Pentagon later this morning.

And later today, President Obama will visit wounded soldiers and their families at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
