Mountain Pine Man Killed in Garland County Accident

A Mountain Pine man has died in a Garland County accident.

It happened Monday morning just before 7:30 at State Highway 88 and Higdon Ferry Road.

The Arkansas State Police says Jerry G. Coombe, 62, died after his Hyundai Accent was hit on the driver's side by a pickup truck.

The accident report states that the truck that hit Coombe's car was headed north when it traveled across the turning lane and the southbound traffic lane before the impact.
