Memphis Wrestling Legend Jerry Lawler Suffers Heart Attack on Live Television

Memphis wrestling legend Jerry "The King" Lawler suffered a heart attack while commentating at ringside Monday during a live World Wrestling Entertainment broadcast.

The 62-year-old was rushed away from ringside by paramedics who reportedly performed CPR backstage before transporting Lawler to a medical facility in Montreal, Canada.

According to WMC-TV in Memphis, Lawler will undergo heart surgery today. According to the WWE, he is expected to make a full recovery.

WMC-TV also reports Lawler's girlfriend, a Memphis resident, posted a message on Facebook last night thanking everyone for their thoughts and prayers.

"I'm getting on the first flight out of here to be with him and will keep everyone posted."
