A charter school that was placed on probation reported to the Board of Education on Monday.

Covenant Keepers ran afoul of the law when the director loaned the school her own money to bolster finances.

Now the charter school says it has hired a full-time bookkeeper, is working with auditors and is receiving help from the Arkansas Public School Resource Center.

The goal is to keep the school on strong financial footing.
