Trash Collection Woes in Monticello

There are trash collection woes in Monticello.

Delta Environmental has declared bankruptcy (chapter 7), and no longer hauls trash out of the city transfer station.

Mayor Allen Maxwell informed the City Council in its meeting last week.

The city has temporarily engaged WCA out of Smackover to haul the city's trash.
