Researchers at California State University found teens with a more positive, grateful disposition were 15% more satisfied with their lives than those who were ungrateful.
Grateful teens were also less likely to abuse drugs or alcohol or have behavior problems at school. While gratitude was linked to happiness and hopefulness, teens who were less grateful had higher rates of depression.
It can be easy to take the good in our lives for granted, but the study proves, it's important to take time and appreciate what you've got.
