Fans React to Razorback Loss and Drop in Rankings

The tough loss for the Hogs last night still stings for many. Fans are dealing with not only the loss, but with an extreme drop in the Top 25 ranking as well.

Losing to the University of Louisiana at Monroe in the Sun Belt Conference has knocked the Razorback out of the Top 25.

Previously ranked 8th, the 34-31 overtime loss caused the team the second largest fall out of the rankings in history.

Adding to the trouble -- Alabama is ranked number one this week, and the Hogs face them next week in Fayetteville.

Fans aren't taking the loss lightly, and KARK asked our Facebook audience if the Hogs deserved the drop out of the Top 25.

Valerie Lynn Smith-Bowen says: "Yes -- they didn't play like an 8th ranked team! Poor coaching, poor decision making, unprepared, inexperienced players."

Toney Starks tells us: "No -- we should've fell a few spots, but not out of the top 25."

Candice Rhea writes: "After what we saw last night...YES! So disappointing..."

And finally, Sue Johnson says: "No. I don't. We had 3 players that got hurt and that alone is enough to upset the whole team. Give them a break. I will always be a RAZORBACK Fan win are lose. WPSooooie GO HOGS !!!!"
