The Blue Angels were in the air this morning to put on a show for thousands who showed up in Jacksonville for the air show at the Little Rock Air Force Base.
But it's businesses in the area reaping the big rewards.
With tons of traffic and crowds ushering in and out of the show, small business owner Debbie Hoggard says business is booming today.
People who want to watch the planes pass by have been hanging out in her parking lot at the Original Fried Pie Shop.
When they get hungry, they've been coming in to eat sweet pies and savory ones, too.
Now, all this business is good because otherwise, Hoggard says it's been sluggish.
Hoggard says, "The economy in Jacksonville seems to be going down, but it's things like this that keep Jacksonville going."
She also says her business is mostly 20 percent Air Force personnel, so she says the community is grateful for all they do to keep us safe in the sky.
