White County Detectives Track Down Registered Sex Offenders

Detectives hit the streets of White County today in search of registered sex offenders.
Officers were armed with a list of 60 of the highest level sex offenders. Detectives along with officers went to each address to verify the offenders were living there.
Out of the 60, authorities made contact with 47 offenders and received information that eight had reportedly moved.
There was no one home at another five.
Detectives will now follow up on the offenders who were not contacted. If it is determined they are not in compliance, additional charges could be filed against them.
