Olympic silver medalist Michael Tinsley is back in his hometown of Little Rock after arriving from Austin Friday morning.

He took a moment to speak to KARK's Deedra Wilson about his experience at the 2012 Olympics.

"Oh, man it felt like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders," Tinsley said. "I had been training for so long and doing track and field since middle school, and it had always been a dream to make it to the Olympics."

Tinsley is set to do the coin toss at the Robinson High School football game, his alma mater.
