The Natural state has become a bit of a celebrity at the Democratic National Convention.

"Everybody loves Arkansas," says Senator Mark Pryor. "It's not just because of Bill Clinton, but just for years Arkansas sent people to Washington and had governors of the state that are respected and well-known."

They've had big name after big name headlining events this week, from Vice President Biden's son, Attorney General Beau Biden to former Virginia Governor, Senator Mark Warner.

The state even hosted an entire star studded event, that actually kept the delegation away from the majority of the first night of the convention.

But despite the spotlight on the state, they were still able to stay focused on their business at hand.

"The delegates here want to make sure that the voices of the Arkansans are heard here," says Hot Springs Delegate Karen Garcia.

And take back the messages the convention is trying to deliver here on why the delegation thinks President Obama should be re-elected.

"It would be an egregious mistake not to recognize that jobs have been created over the last four years," says State Senator Joyce Elliot.
