Armed Masked Man Robs Military Road Bank in Benton

The Benton Police Department is investigating the robbery of First Security Bank located at 1403 Military Road.
It happened shortly after noon today.
The suspect (see photo) is described as a white man about 6' tall. He was seen wearing a camouflage t-shirt, blue jeans, brown work boots, camouflage hat, black 'ski mask', dark-colored sunglasses, black gloves, and carrying a tan 'courier style' satchel.
Police say the man was armed with a pistol during the robbery and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
He was last running towards the Hastings parking lot right after leaving the bank, but witnesses also reported he got into a 4-door almond or off-white Hyundai. The vehicle was believed to be an early-mid 2000's model.
Anyone with information about the holdup is urged to call the Benton Police Department at (501) 778-1171 or leave a tip at (501) 315-TIPS. Anonymous tips can also be texted to CRIMES (274637) with the keyword BNPD in the body of the text.
