Little Rock Woman Charged with Battery after Fight with State Senator

A Little Rock woman has been charged with battery after police say she got into a fight with a state senator with whom she had a past relationship.
Julie McGee, 39, was charged last night following the incident at the home of Jeremy Hutchinson, 38.
Police say they were called to a condo on Chenal Woods Drive around eight o'clock.
When officers arrived, they said McGee told them she had been thrown on the couch by Hutchinson. The police report noted that she had a swollen lip, scratches on her wrists and redness on one arm.
Hutchinson said he had been hit on the side of the head with a small preserved alligator head and police noted he had a bleeding head wound, the report said.
An ambulance was called to the scene but both refused treatment and were taken into custody for questioning at the Northwest Detective Division.
Police say McGee was charged after officers determined her injuries did not match her story.
Hutchinson was released without charges.
