Routine Maintenance on I-40 Bridge at Alma to Require Lane Closure

Crews performing routine maintenance on a bridge on Interstate 40 at Alma (Exit 13) will require a lane closure this week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
The concrete patching on the substructure will require the westbound, outside lane to be closed intermittently on Wednesday, Sept. 5 and Thursday, Sept. 6.
The lane closure will be in effect between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. daily, weather permitting.
Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
