According to the Drew County Sheriff's Office, Jonathan Jamel May was arrested in Monticello for two counts of first-degree murder and three counts of attempted murder for incidents that occurred February in Detroit, Mich.
According to information the Drew County Sheriff's Office received from the Detroit Police Department, May along with two other suspects shot and killed a disabled couple, seriously injured another person, and shot at two other people on Feb. 10, 2012.
After the airing of America's Most Wanted on Saturday, information was obtained that May was living in Monticello. At approximately 11:00 Tuesday morning, the Drew County Sheriff's Department, Monticello Police Department, and US Marshals went to a residence located on Bailey Street where May was believed to be staying.
Shortly afterwards May was apprehended without incident and taken to the Drew County Detention Facility.
May is currently awaiting extradition.
