'Sweet Tea with Tim' Listening Tour for Arkansas's Rep. Griffin
By: KARK 4 News
Updated: September 4, 2012
Throughout the month of September, Rep. Griffin will host a series of events where Arkansans can share their thoughts directly with him and learn more about his work in Congress.
These events are free and open to the public.
"I am always looking for ways to better serve the folks I represent, and a key part of that effort is to keep the conversation going - to hear what's on people's minds and update them on the latest issues that they care about. And what better way to do it than over a glass of sweet (or unsweetened) tea? These events are for all residents of the Second District and I hope folks will be able to make it to one."
Rep. Griffin's office says he is always available to meet with constituents whenever it is convenient for them. If someone is unable to make any of these tour events, they are encouraged to contact his office about scheduling an appointment by calling (501) 324-5941 or by emailing Tim.Griffin@mail.House.gov.
