Air Conditioning Failure Adds to LR Family's Apartment Woes

The Shacher family just moved to Arkansas from Utah three weeks ago.
They've been battling a flea infestation in their new Little Rock apartment.
They also aren't accustomed to this heat and humidity. As temps topped 100 on Monday, they were dealing with a broken down air conditioner in their apartment as well.
"The temperature's going up and we're swampy and sweaty and hot. This weather is really pretty bad. We were going to go outside and go to the lake but decided to stay home, but in our house it's extremely hot as well," said Eric Shacher.
According to the Shachers, they've put in three work orders over the past three weeks, and all of those have gone unanswered.
KARK attempted to speak with the apartment management team, but the office was closed for the Labor Day holiday.
