"We see a lot of them in our restaurant often," said Lisa Bullock.
Feeding firefighters who are sometimes on the job around the clock for days. So having to work on Labor Day, is to be expected.
"I do miss holidays with the family and stuff like that, but it's nice to be here with my second family," said Lt. Jeff Combs.
For this family food is important, but another important issue, the Firefighters Union that provides support for guys like these.
"We lobby strong for firefighters all across the state. And occasionally we help out a brother when management makes a mistake in their judgment," said Allen Tetkoskie, Union Secretary.
Judging by the looks of this beautiful day, those that didn't have to work, took advantage of the day off.
"I'm about to go fish after we get done shopping," said Nick Anderson.
"Spending the day with my granddaughter Morgan and we've been shopping, had lunch," said Sandy Pack.
No matter how you spend this Labor Day, remember every job is filling, and fun when you spend it with friends and co-workers.
