Thunderstorm Winds Caused Des Arc Damage

It was not a tornado that damaged the Des Arc area in Prairie County.

John Robinson from the National Weather Service says while they did see downed trees -- some that even fell on homes -- they did not find any evidence of a tornado in the Des Arc and Cotton Plant areas.

The damage was from standard thunderstorm winds.
