Woman Says Razorback Game Saved Her Life

"I guess you could say the Razorback's saved my life, but they don't know it."
That's one of Eva Halpain's many reactions to the incident last night that destroyed her home.
Halpain was away from her home to watch the Razorback's at a friend's house Saturday night. She was spared, but her house was destroyed by a falling tree.
She is very shaken up after losing almost everything in Saturday's storms.
Halpain says, "Just beside myself. Nothing bad like this has ever happened to me."
The tree pretty much sliced her house in two, with branches crushing her kitchen and other rooms. Almost all her belongings inside -- gone.
Had she not gone over to a friend's house to watch the game on pay-per-view, she would likely have been sitting right where the tree crashed.
Her son tells KARK the family can't go into the house until insurance agents can get there. And because of the holiday, they're told agents won't get there until Tuesday or Wednesday.
For now, Halpain is staying with family and is grateful she and her three pets all survived.
Watch KARK News at 10 Sunday night for more on how they're moving forward.
