Conway police are still investigating after a witness reported a man beating two dogs to death with a baseball bat.

It allegedly happened in the 1500 block of East German.

A witness told police he watched Michael Woole beat his two dogs with a bat.

The witness says he confronted Woole who said he was just putting the dogs down. The witness then told police he saw Woole load their bodies into a truck and drive away.

Police now say could Woole faces charges of aggravated animal cruelty but at this time an arrest warrant has not been issued.

"There's plenty of vets around town if you're in a bind its worth a shot to see if they can help you out," said Officer Sean Canady.

There were other animals on the property. Woole called the KARK newsroom Sunday night and said he'd spoken with police and they would not be pursuing charges. But a Conway police spokesperson is the investigation is still ongoing.

did you even think that maybe they attacked him first? lets look at all the other animals on the property. were they starving, abused, or in anyway negeleted. my opinion is its the stupid people who judge others without all the facts.

If he will beat two dogs to death with a bat without any sensitivity to the intelligence level of a dog, he will to that to other animals or weaker people. He likes the power high he gets from it. There are several other ways to do what he did but those are usually only taken after trying to give them away or going to a vet to ask alternatives. Woole is too stupid to own dogs.
