University of Arkansas Police Search for Sexual Assault Suspect

University of Arkansas police are searching for a person who allegedly sexually assaulted a student early Sunday morning.

The student tells campus police she was attacked from behind and forced to the ground near Gregg Avenue and Lot 14 in Fayetteville.

It happened between 12:10 and 12:20 am.

The student describes the alleged attacker as a white male with a dark complexion. He was about 5'10" with a muscular build and short brown hair. She says he was wearing tan shorts and a dark grey shirt.

Anyone with information on the attack is asked to contact University police at (479) 575-2222.
