Benton Man Faces Felony Charge After Pulling Fake Gun in Starbucks Parking Lot

According to the Bryant Police Department, officers responded to the Starbucks at the Alcoa Exchange at 8:11 Friday morning regarding a man pulling a gun on a customer in the drive-thru line.
The woman was sitting in an already backed up line in the drive-thru when the passenger of a white Hyundai that was waiting to back out of a parking space.
As the car started backing out, the woman honked her horn, and 20-year-old Brandon Kyle Sanders of Benton began yelling at her to move, although she was stuck in the line and couldn't move forward or backward.
Police say Sanders became very angry, pulled a gun out and pointed it at the woman, who told police he said for her to move her car or he would kill her.
The woman called 911 immediately and the car Sanders was in was able to work its way out of the parking space and fled the scene.
Officers located Sanders at his home in Benton where he was taken to the Bryant Police Department for questioning.
Officers were also able to locate the gun, which turned out to be a black semi-automatic Phantom Air Pistol, which looks just like a real gun.
Brandon Sanders was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault, terroristic threatening and obstruction of government operations.
