Custom Aircraft Cabinets announced the expansion of its manufacturing plant in Sherwood, which will add 150 new jobs.

The company is a specialized woodworking and upholstery manufacturer and supplies private, corporate and head-of-state aircraft companies globally.

Governor Mike Beebe was there, and says he's happy with the news of putting more Arkansans to work.

"With all the difficulties our country goes through, it's nice to be able to have an announcement where a home-grown Arkansas company is doubling its workforce with good-paying jobs and in an industry that has suffered," Beebe says.

The expansion will also result in the growth of its sister company Reliable Fire Protection, which will add 20 additional jobs at a nearby facility.
