Drilling on Highway 67 in Jacksonville to Require Nighttime Lane Closure

Crews performing geotechnical sampling on Highway 67 in Jacksonville will require a nighttime lane closure beginning next week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.

The sampling will require the northbound, inside lane near the Main Street Exit to be closed beginning Wednesday night, Sept. 5 and continuing through Friday night, Sept. 7.

The lane closure will be in effect between the hours of 7:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m., weather permitting.     

Motorists should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
