ADH Confirms Measles Cases in Gentry

The Arkansas Department of Health has confirmed two cases of measles in Northwest Arkansas.

According to the principal of Ozark Adventist Academy, one male student and his brother have tested positive for the virus through an Arkansas Department of Health screening.

The school reported two potential cases of measles to the ADH after two students, a brother and sister, went to the school nurse Sunday evening. Another brother, who recently traveled out of the country was also tested after exhibiting symptoms.

The two brothers were found to have measles, while the sisters test came back negative.
