Isaac is causing problems all over the state as it tracks north, leaving more than 12,000 customers without power Thursday afternoon.

A slow steady rain was falling in Monticello, and people are starting to call for rooms because of power outages in places like Dermott.

Power went out on the University of Arkansas-Monticello campus Thursday morning as gusting winds and heavy rain pounded the university.

Students didn't seem to mind as they head to class, and one woman that works in the registrars office even went out in the bad weather to get lunch for everyone after the power went out.

"We were stuck in our office, our power has been off and on all morning," Mary Grace Tyler said. "It was out again for about an hour."
