By: News Release - Arkansas State University
Updated: August 30, 2012
Due to the threat of inclement weather on Friday morning, the departure time for the ASU football team from Jonesboro has been changed to 9:15 a.m. for its trip to take on the Oregon Ducks in Eugene, Ore.

A-State fans are now encouraged to gather near the ASU Football Facility beginning at 8:45 a.m. to cheer on the players and coaches as they load the buses to depart on the trip.

Also on Friday, Arkansas State fans are encouraged to wear red as part of the national "College Colors Day" promotion. A-State is one of many schools nationwide to take part in the nationwide spirit initiative which was spearheaded by ESPN and the Collegiate Licensing Company.

The Red Wolves and fifth-ranked Oregon kick off the season Saturday night at 9:30 p.m. Central before A-State heads back to Jonesboro for its home opener against Memphis Sept. 8.

Season tickets for ASU's 2012 football campaign are currently on sale at the ASU Ticket Office. The ticket office can be contacted at 870-972-ASU1, or tickets can be purchased online through A-State's official athletic website AStateRedWolves.com.
