Jefferson Co. Constable Arrested on Suspicion of Raping 11-year-old Boy

A Jefferson County Constable was arrested Thursday afternoon on suspicion of rape.

According to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office, 50-year-old Thomas Eagle is accused of raping an 11-year-old boy, who is now 27.

Eagle is currently the Constable elected to the Melton Township in Jefferson County.

The Sheriff's office says the arrest followed an investigation in which "tangible and non-tangible" evidence was collected.

Eagle was booked into the W.C. "Dub" Brassell Adult Detention Center, and is currently awaiting his first appearance in a Jefferson County District Court.

His bail has not been set.
