Updated: September 14, 2012
John Wolfe, the Tennessee lawyer who made a splash on the political scene in May when he won more than 67,000 votes in the Democratic Primary election has lost his lawsuit.

U.S. District Judge James Moody ruled today that the Arkansas Democratic Party did not violate Wolfe's Constitutional rights when it decided not to award him any of its delegates.

Wolfe ran against President Barack Obama.

The Democratic Party argued Wolfe did meet paperwork filing deadlines but Wolfe had claimed the party was trying to freeze him out.

He had won 42 percent of the vote in the state's presidential primary election.
